We are over the moon to announce that our very own Shirley Tremlett has won the impressive award of

Pet Product Retail Association's 'Best Member of Staff 2010' !! Shirley was presented her award at this years Pet & Aquatics Trade Show in Harrogate. Shirley's husband, Mike, family and pet shop owners, Janine & Mike Tozer, all went along to celebrate.

Shirley is the manager at our Larkhall shop in Bath. Bath Pets owner, Janine, put Shirley forward for this award because she is extremely loyal, hardworking, committed, friendly, conscientious and our customers speak very highly of Shirley. Shirley is always welcoming and happy to help, she gets involved with all of our promotions, open days and special events.

We are proud to have her as part of our team and we would all like to congratulate Shirley on winning this special award.

We have fantastic news !! As a company Bath Pet Centre (incorporating Bath Pets 2 at Larkhall and Frome Pet & Aquatics) are extremely proud to announce that we have won the Pet Care Trust's Industry Award in the UK for 'National Pet Retailer of the Year 2009'.

The Judges were most impressed by Bath Pet Centre's excellent level of customer service and dedication to the promotion of responsible pet ownership. They also liked our level of knowledge of animal welfare, our education programmes, animal boarding service and our contribution to the local community. The judges were especially impressed with the relationship that our staff have with our customers and their final statement was that we are all about "service, service, service".

We must commend all of our staff for consistently providing such high levels of customer service and yet still retaining a friendly approach, giving a 'homely feel' to our stores. A BIG BIG THANK YOU to all our staff for their continued hard work in helping the company to achieve this prestigious award, especially in this difficult climate.

Not Just Pets are very excited to confirm that our Bath and Frome shops have won the award for

'Best Pet Shop Event' during National Pet Month 2009.

We are delighted to be part of the record 450 events that were held nationwide this year, which highlighted how we can all help to keep pets healthy and happy whilst raising around a total of £13,000 so far for various animal charities. National Pet Month chairman Phil Sketchley visited us at our Frome store to present us with our award personally.

A huge thank you to everybody that was involved and took part in these events. We couldn't have done it without you.
