We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all involved in helping to achieve a very successful National Pet Month 2010. We have raised £499.36 for our chosen charities, Frome Cats Protection, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Bath Cats and Dogs Home* whilst having lots of fun and continuing the National Pet Month message of making sure that all our pets stay healthy and happy.
Now we can't wait until next year !!
* (We also donated a small amount to the Oriel Hall project (a local community project in Larkhall) and the Africa Roof Fund)
Supporting Positive Action on Cancer
Frome Pet & Aquatic Centre took part in the 'Splash of Purple Day' on January 29th to help raise funds towards the Listening Ear Apppeal for Positive Action on Cancer. The Frome-based counselling charity, Positive Action on Cancer, asked schools, shops and businesses to show their support by wearing something purple and making a donation to the charity. Thank you to everybody that supported this charity event. Below you can see some of our Frome staff showing their support for this wonderful cause.
